General Care

Protect the plating of your jewelry by removing it when washing your hands, swimming, exercising, cleaning and before applying any kind of personal body product. Maintain your jewelry’s shine by avoiding contact with agents such as soaps, perfume, lotion, makeup, hair & cleaning products, etc. Always wear your rubber or metal safety backs with your earrings to prevent loss.

The Kendra Scott jewelry pouch doubles as a safe haven for your jewelry’s storage and a polishing cloth to keep it looking bright and shiny.

Sterling Silver Jewelry Care

Sterling Silver is delicate and may be damaged if not handled with care.

Remove jewelry when washing your body, swimming, exercising, or cleaning. Avoid contact with soaps, perfume, lotion, makeup, hair, and cleaning products. Stones are fragile and can break, crack, or scratch if not handled with care. Avoid extreme heat.

Your jewelry pouch doubles as a polishing cloth. We recommend using the pouch to store your jewelry and polish your jewelry as needed. To clean, rub your jewelry gently in one direction. Do not use products like tissue paper or paper towels, as they can cause scratching.

A silver cleaner can be used on pure Sterling Silver pieces, but not 18k Yellow Gold Vermeil or 18k Rose Gold Vermeil.

To clean the thread on your cord bracelet, occasionally wash it with a soft sponge and mild soap in lukewarm water.

Our jewelry is protected with an anti-tarnish solution, but may wear with time and improper care.

Fine Jewelry Care

Wash your Kendra Scott Fine Jewelry with gentle hand soap, rinse well and dry completely with a soft cloth. Using jewelry dips or polishes is not recommended as they may contain harsh abrasives. Maintain your jewelry’s shine by avoiding contact with agents such as perfume, lotion, makeup, hair & cleaning products. Always remove your jewelry before swimming and exercising. Store your Kendra Scott Fine Jewelry in its pouch or lined box for safe keeping.

Fine Jewelry Repair Policy

If within one year of the original purchase date a Kendra Scott Fine Jewelry piece fails during normal wear because of a defect in material or workmanship, we will repair with like quality materials at no cost. If a Kendra Scott Fine Jewelry piece is damaged after the first year, we will facilitate repairs with like quality materials at an additional cost.

Kendra Scott, LLC is not responsible for lost or damaged jewelry after delivery has been accepted.

All returns of fine jewelry must be securely packaged (preferably in the original jewelry box) and must include a completed repair form filled out by a sales associate or customer service representative. Please contact Customer Service to request a repair form or visit your closest Kendra Scott store.

Please allow 15-20 business days for your repairs to be complete. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays. Repair processing begins after your package is delivered to us.
