Affirm’s loan application process is painless. Promise. Let’s go through it step by step:

• Select “Affirm” from the billing page or review order page, then click “Complete Purchase with Affirm” to launch the Affirm pop-up experience.

• In the Affirm pop-up, you will be prompted to enter a few pieces of information – your name, phone number, email address, date of birth, and last 4 digits of your social security number.

• Affirm will send a text message to your cell phone with a unique verification code.

• Enter the verification code into the application form.

• Within a few seconds, Affirm will notify you of the amount of your fixed payments.

• If you would like to accept the offer, click “Confirm Loan” and you’re done. 

• After completing your order, you’ll get monthly reminders about your upcoming payments. You’ll also have the option to set up AutoPay (so you don’t miss a payment). In most cases, your first payment will be due 14 days from the date the merchant (that’s us!) finishes processing your order.

Here’s a breakdown on how to make a payment, just in case:

• Go to www.affirm.com/account

• Type in your mobile number and you will be sent a unique verification code.

• On the next page, enter this verification code into the form and click “Sign In.”

• Once signed in, you will see a list of your payment plans and upcoming payments. Click on the payment you would like to make.

• You can make a payment utilizing a debit or credit card, or ACH bank transfer.

Refunds will post to your Affirm account once we process your return request. If you’ve already made loan payments or a down payment, Affirm issues a refund credit to the bank account or debit card that you used to make the payments. In the event that we issue a store credit instead of a refund, you are still responsible for paying off your Affirm loan.
