Our Commitment to a Cure
This year, the Kendra Scott Foundation is committing $250,000 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and The Pink Agenda in support of their mission to advance the world's most promising research. For more information about BCRF, visit www.bcrf.org.
Since 2016, Kendra Scott has donated over $2.3 million to breast cancer causes. And we’re just getting started. Help us end this disease for good.
The Kendra Scott Foundation and Breast Cancer Research Foundation
The Kendra Scott Foundation’s breast cancer initiative Yellow for Pink provides grants to breast cancer nonprofits that support survivors, thrivers, and families affected by this disease. Additionally, we partner with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) to fund a metastatic breast cancer research grant, The Kendra Scott Award in Honor of Holley Rothell Kitchen. Since 2016, we have funded over 46,000 hours of research.
Dr. Suzanne Fuqua, Professor of Medicine and Molecular and Cellular Biology at the Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center at Baylor College of Medicine, is working to overcome resistance to therapies and prevent metastasis of estrogen receptor (ER)-positive breast cancer. This research is critically important because once breast cancer spreads to other parts of the body, or metastasizes, it often develops resistance to therapy. There is currently no cure for metastatic breast cancer, which is responsible for nearly all breast cancer deaths.
Our Shared Impact
We're proud to help Inheritance of Hope bring lasting memories to families and create joy after a terminal diagnosis.
