How did he ask, you ask? “Jordan asked me to marry him at the Golden Roast coffee shop. It was the exact coffee shop and table we sat for our first date. I thought we were going to grab a quick cup of coffee before getting half-priced sushi. Boy, was I wrong. He totally caught me off guard with the timing and scheme of it all. He even had a photographer there strategically. What’s the best part? He dropped the box while getting on one knee! After he asked me, all of my best friends and our siblings burst through the front door of the coffee shop. We then drove to my parent’s house for a MASSIVE engagement party. The love was so overflowing from everyone that night.”
With that proposal, we have to know all about the wedding day!
2016 was a year to remember! Amid all the holiday excitement, we took a breath and spent just a few minutes reflecting on some of the amazing accomplishments we reached because of YOU!
In celebration of the launch of our first-ever Kendra Scott Home Collection, we are giving back to our communities in a big way. Tomorrow, with each purchase from the new collection made online or in any of our three Austin stores, we will donate 20% to the Austin Habitat for Humanity. It’s a cause Kendra has been passionate about for a number of years…Read on to hear her story behind this meaningful day of giving.
Last week we touched down in Seattle, Washington to host an influencer dinner in celebration of our 50th store opening. We asked our attendees to bring a friend, creating a darling mix of women from all over Seattle! Among our 60 attendees were women who worked for Nordstrom, Amazon, Microsoft and even The Seattle Children’s Hospital. We also welcomed many Seattle based bloggers who were all equally excited to mix and mingle.
It’s that time of year again: our annual Halloween Trick or Treat Monster Sale! We can hardly contain our excitement, so we wanted to make sure you know exactly how it works.
At Kendra Scott, we live by the saying “What Matters To You, Matters to Us.” This October, Hope Matters…
Selecting just one cause to support during Breast Cancer Awareness month is always nearly impossible. Our company’s community involvement is best summarized by our philanthropic mantra, “What Matters to You, Matters To Us.” Our passion for our communities drives our motivation to work with local organizations all year long. And this October, we decided to go a step further. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, we will dedicate our philanthropic efforts to a single philanthropic initiative: to be a voice for Kendra’s dear friend Holley Kitchen, who passed away in January after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer.
Come in-store or shop online this month to support this very important giveback!
Here’s what you can do to help this October:
Just two weeks ago, we took the Kendra Scott Jewelry tour back on the road. We had so much fun we have to share!
This September, in honor of National Child Cancer Awareness Month, Kendra was inspired to give back to an organization that is dear to her heart – MD Anderson. In partnership with the MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Center, we hosted a national Kendra Gives Back event, where 20% of all purchases were donated to Childhood Cancer research and programs. And to make our cause more personal, we selected two very special patient ambassadors…
